Speechtails.com makes pediatric speech improvement affordable, accessible and flexible.
It is designed to empower parents by providing a cohesive proprietary system which allows a self-directed approach to addressing a child’s speech difficulties. Speechtails.com is designed as an alternative to traditional speech therapy for those who cannot obtain speech services for any number of reasons. For those who qualify for speech therapy services, Speechtails is designed to augment (shorten duration), not replace face-to-face speech therapy.
The free speech assessment is a 81 question test which ascertains the speech difficulties that a child has. The areas of difficulty are assembled into an individualized lesson plan within the Speechtails Online Speech Learning Center. The learning center contains a series of videos, mouth exercises, activities of daily living, and homework which allows the child to master the sound. The member may use the tools and exercises as much as desired which means they choose the time, the day, how often, and how many lessons per day they wish to work on.
The Speechtails On-Line Learning Center is not Speech Therapy however, was developed by a licensed speech language pathologist and utilizes approaches which are commonly used by many Speech Language Pathologists.
