Dear Colleague,

Since I began practicing speech therapy one of my biggest frustrations has been lobbying medical insurance companies to gain approval for them to cover a child's speech services, when the child is not a severe case. Often times I have been unsuccessful and the child ends up going without speech. My second frustration is regarding providing the parents of my clients with a helpful, simple, and organized approach for them to work on their speech carryover.

Speech Tails was created to provide a system to address these two frustrations and is designed to augment the services that we already provide as professionals.

In this light, I would like to grow this site into something could address other frustrations that we encounter as Speech Therapists. Some of the area that we have considered adding are:

• A referral network for Speech Therapist
• A guest blogger section to share other Therapist thoughts and ideas
• An "enhanced" tips section were Therapist could submit successful ideas that they use in their practice
